No worries, just be mindful that merging doesn't mean just copying and pasting your version of the article over the top of the existing one, but using the useful bits from both articles. There was useful text from the old article that you deleted by doing what you did. I've now used this as the lead of the article per Hawkeye7's suggestion. Kind regards.
