Length of Quebec Hiways.
There was an edit today from a IP number user ((diff) (hist) . . Autoroute (Quebec); 02:09 . . 22.214.171.124 (Talk) (Quebec's Autoroutes do not span more than 20,000 km; in fact they are rather short compared to highways in the US) )
I could not find a reference on the Quebec Hyways site, although they do say that (sur les quelque 30 000 kilomètres de route sous la responsabilité du Ministère; elles requièrent des investissements importants. [] But it does not say how many of those 30,000 Km and 450 Stuctures (pesumably Bridges) are autoroutes. Anyone have a good reference, I don't want to RV the edit without some reference cmacd 16:25, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- A quick sum of the lengths given in the article yields 1,920 km. I was the source of the edit -- G. Csikos
Unused Autoroute Links
1) Autoroute 16 and Autoroute 18
These two entries are unsourced. I have had an interest in Québec roads for 20+ years and I have never seen any reference to either one of those two alleged autoroutes. Please provide a source. --Prop in SF 19:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I didn't find anything for Autoroute 16, but I found this which seems to be an official MTQ document regarding a future Autoroute 18

2) Autoroute 430, Autoroute 51
I see these listed here,
- I remember seeing 51 0n the maps--why not note it is part of 55?
- 430, now 30 east of Lafontaine Tunnel.

Tunnel L.H. Lafontaine (Now 40 year's old.)
The Tunnel L.H. Lafontaine has now 40 year's old.
Links to main article pages; consistency
Is there any particular reason that the list of autoroutes does not link to the individual articles for each separate autoroute? Not sure what the style should be - if each header should be a hyperlink, or if each should have eg Main article: Autoroute 50 beneath it.
On a related note, there is very little consistency between how the list here is structured compared with the lists for Ontario and (different again) for Nova Scotia. 126.96.36.199 (talk) 17:51, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Overhauling the Page
I feel that this page is inconsistent and has way to many uncredited resources. As such, I have begun overhauling the page. My goal is to make it look much more like the Ontario 400-Series Highways page, which I feel is very well structured. The first thing I have done is categorized the Autoroutes into "Main Class", "Spur Class", and "Unbuilt/Proposed". I have also completed adding infoboxes to the Main Class autoroutes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.8.131.52 (talk) 03:31, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
