It is located in the Akot Taluka, Akola District, Berar (also called Amravati Division)at coordinates of 21o 15' N and 77o 4' E. The closest city is Akot which is 18 km away. It is at the southern most tip of the Satpura Hills at an elevation of 3161 feet(912 m) above sea level.[1] Currently, this area falls within the Melghat Tiger Reserve.

In the article, it's been stated that Muhammad Azam Shah was the third son of Emperor Aurangzeb; while the same thing has been stated about Bahadur Shah I too! Aminabzz (talk) 16:57, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
