Untitled[edit]

I did a quick rewrite on the page. Mostly corrected typos and reorganized the structure. I removed the line about the trip attack resembling groping because it wasn't substantial enough to really make sense to anyone who hasn't played the game, I didn't even understand what it was talking about. Unsourced reception[edit]

JimmyBlackwing, this one looks like mostly OR, but the EGM review might be legit? 2600:1700:E820:1BA0:F547:54CF:BB57:887D (talk) 03:24, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hey! Thanks for finding these unsourced articles. Unfortunately, I should say that my Wikipedia editing habits are tied pretty closely to my own personal interests, and I tend to edit things that excite me at the time. (My editing may look random, but it's all based on whatever my latest Wiki-obsession is.) This is one of many reasons I'd make a lousy admin! As a result, while I plan to continue expanding/adding reception sections when I find time, I'm going to have to leave many of these neglected articles to other editors. That said, if you're interested in sourcing these pages, my guide to sourcing video game articles may be of use to you! It's where I catalogue all of my own sourcing tools, and I rely on it nearly every time I edit Wikipedia. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 03:44, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
JimmyBlackwing, oh, sorry, fair enough. Well, I have been making a list of these articles with unsourced reception sections. I've been planning to post the list on the VG project talk page when I am done. In my mind, it's a strict no-no to post reception information without a source. I will stop pinging you on them unless you don't mind. 2600:1700:E820:1BA0:F547:54CF:BB57:887D (talk) 03:59, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. That list sounds like a good idea—if you make it a subpage, WPVG can treat it as a backlog to clear, one article at a time. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 04:08, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK, not bad! I personally would like to get through all the 1600+ unsourced VG articles, so I think it needs to be broken up into much smaller chunks. I figured articles that at least made an attempt to have reception sections might have a better chance at being salvageable than a lot of other ones, so I'm starting there. Keep doing what you do! 2600:1700:E820:1BA0:F547:54CF:BB57:887D (talk) 04:40, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hey JimmyBlackwing, I posted my list. :) 76.231.73.99 (talk) 00:21, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Good work! I guess I haven't looked at WPVG's talk page in awhile—I've missed this until now. I'll take a look at the list and see if there's anything I can help with. JimmyBlackwing (talk) 01:21, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
