Heavy Metal song??

[edit]

Common, guys, let's be honest! this isn't Heavy metal song, especially not with the two slow briges.. Daily Download labels them as Punk Rock, (included link) and i think it's great since the rev usually has fast beats. i've changed it from 'Heavy Metal' To punk rock

does anyone know good places to learn how to properly create/translate Wikipedia pages?65.93.158.158 06:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)by me, Andre, Sunday May 26th 2007 at 2:25 am[reply]

To Be honest, I don't think it's heavy metal either. But It sure isn't punk Rock. Maybe Punk Metal! Jonasbrotherareterrible (talk) 19:47, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Avenged Sevenfold is marked as metalcore, which is a fusion between extreme metal and hardcore punk. However, this song has elements of heavy metal and hard rock, and maybe punk rock. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.76.51.32 (talk) 07:16, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Music Video

[edit]

i've added a Music Video to this section, referencing to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi4QKUC1ACI.. pretty sure i've screwed up a few things, can anyone point out my mistakes??

Hunter Thompson wrote his book in the 70's I think (could be mistaken), and didn't commit suicide until 2005. He couldn't have committed suicide while writing the book, as the section suggests.

Fair use rationale for Image:Avenged sevenfold bat country.jpg

[edit]

Image:Avenged sevenfold bat country.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:54, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Borrowed Musical Compositions?

[edit]

It seems like several portions of the guitar solos are borrowed from/similar to well-known classical compositions. Problem is, I can only recognize two classical compositions by sound. If someone else knows more classical works and can list the pieces that certain guitar solos mimic, I think it'd be a valuable addition to this entry. --99.103.62.82 (talk) 21:52, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bones

[edit]

It says the song was in the Bones episode 'Superhero in the alley'. I've just been watching the episode and can't hear the song anywhere. I've looked up where it's supposed to be but can only hear a song that certainly isn't Bat Country. 21:56, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
