Untitled[edit]

I think it's just called Poets Corner because all the surrounding streets are named after famous poets (eg Coleridge, Kipling, Keats, Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Marlowe).218.214.77.123 (talk) 13:53, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Establishment date[edit]

As with many other Central Coast suburb pages, the establishment date is completely incorrect. Bateau Bay existed long before 1991. The information is being culled from a government site but that being said, it is incorrect.

Agreed. Is there an official history of the shire? In WA just about every shire (even the tiny ones) have produced a book which can be found in both the local library, and in the State Library of WA, which usually give a fairly solid history of most metropolitan areas and are a good guide to establishment dates. Bateau Bay - Trivia - name of road[edit]

I agree with the Advertising tag. This is crap. The Tourism section lists accomodation and its facilites! This is more of a writing style seen in flyers at a local Hotel. This is an encyclopaedia.
