External link broken[edit]

The external link at the end of the page, "Lecture Notes For Week Fourteen" is broken. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.49.57.175 (talk) 11:00, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this battle also known as Persepolis?[edit]

The dictionaries of battles by Bruce and Harbottle (1971) and Laffin (1986) both describe a battle of Persepolis in 316 BCE that sounds eerily similar to this one, with Eumenes captured at the end. The odd thing is that Sabin (2007) in Lost Battles, when discussing this battle, doesn't say "also called Persepolis", so that a complete novice regarding ancient history is left wondering whether there is one battle or two. Laffin linked it with the equally uncertain battle of Corupedion. The naming of these battles needs to be clarified, but alas I'm not the person to do it. --Wally Tharg (talk) 20:03, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
