Flagged as incomplete[edit]

The page didn't link to much relevant geographical information, so I linked to Marjayoun town, as well as clarified the start of the article somewhat with additional info & citations I found elsewhere on English & French Wikipedias. The bigger issue, however, is that the article says almost nothing about the actual battle. – Miranche T C 20:21, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

2/5th Australian Field Regiment[edit]

The 2/5th Australian Field Regiment was part of Berryforce under the command of Brigadier F.H. Berryman. Details of the entire invasion of Syria and battles including maps is documented in "The Architect of Victory, The Military Career of Lieutenant- General Sir Frank Horton Berryman" by Peter Dean, Cambridge University Press 2011
