315,000 Employees?! That can't be right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.192.10.70 (talk) 15:05, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think someone used global corporate numbers instead of North America numbers. I found 2011 numbers in a PDF at the US website. Added some inline references and other info. Pgh878 (talk) 13:04, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article moved to Bayer Corporation per a technical request

[edit]

Bayer USA has been moved to Bayer Corporation per a request at WP:RMTR. This seems to be acceptable under WP:Naming conventions (companies), which normally tells us to avoid using the term 'corporation' in company names. This usage is to identify the US arm of Bayer. The main worldwide company is called Bayer AG, and appears in Wikipedia as Bayer. EdJohnston (talk) 17:22, 30 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Fomrer Plant" section

[edit]

This section of the article is unreferenced and is not relevant to the history of Bayer Corporation. Companies close plants for many reason, it is not noteworthy. I will remove this section unless there are objections Littleboybrew (talk) 16:58, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
