After substantial contibutions from users and massive editing, I don't think this article needs cleanup, so I'm removing the tag... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.113.24.1 (talk) 19:27, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Challenger / CRJ Icing

[edit]

Surely it must be common knowledge by now that these aircraft are EXTREMELY sensitive to icing, particularly on take-off.Petebutt (talk) 18:52, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jargon

[edit]

There appears to be some specialized terms in the article that should be made more accessible to lay readers. RJFJR (talk) 15:50, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • "...banked sharply to the left immediately after rotation..." (What is rotation? Same as takeoff?)
  • Crew calculated V1, Vr, and V2. (They are some kind of speed for take off but I don't know what they refer to.)
I took care of it (Sorry about putting a note here: I thought it would be very difficult but we have articles V speeds and Rotation (aviation) so I just added links. I'll also add the rotation definition to wiktionary.) RJFJR (talk) 16:02, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
