Harby Primary School leicestershire

[edit]

You wrote: Former base to bell turret with reliefs of Pelican in her Piety on left and open book on right. The base formerly supported a timber bell-cote with a slate-hung spire.[122]

As a former pupil at the school and the writer of the information regarding Harby Primary school, I wanted to let you know that it is indeed a Swan, not a Pelican that is on the relief and a book. The swan was chosen because they are on the canal that runs around the village and they provided the Quill to write with. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harby,_Leicestershire [ruddingtonsmith][mattsmithlon] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruddingtonsmith (talkcontribs) 09:29, 13 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
