This article is about my brother. yay! go ben! don't you think someone should add a picture? I suppose I've taken pictures of him before and could upload one, but I'm not sure that's compatible with licensing situations. I'm wondering if an admin could upload a picture from any of the reference articles, or any article he's been in and there have been tons.

Criticism

[edit]

Wow, no criticism? None at all for the guy who, with Jeff Zucker drove NBC into the ground? What's going on here, I mean, wikipedia is a joke, but since when is wikipedia in the business of whitewashing facts that a few powerful people don't want people to hear?--173.66.63.22 (talk) 06:06, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above comment. This is a bizarrely unbalanced article. It says when he arrived at NBC, NBC was in 4th. NBC is still in 4th, and in fact is in worse shape, but that gets no mention? I dont have the time or expertise to correct this article but someone needs to. 149.31.51.120 (talk) 22:40, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The BLP policy prohibits saying anything negative about anyone, ever. Bullofconfusion (talk) 22:47, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, there can be criticism of a BLP's acts and decisions. Just not any libelous talk about a person's character. And everything should be sourced. Liz Read! Talk! 16:52, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reads like a publicist's press release

[edit]

Usually BLPs that are so peacocky are about actors or politicians and this one is really promotional. It doesn't seem like one single account is responsible for this unabashed rave, there were multiple contributors. As other editors have noted, this is a very unbalanced profile and, at the least, it should be mentioned that 30 Rock's character of Devon Banks was modeled on Silverman. I'll look for additional sources of info. Liz Read! Talk! 16:50, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
