Theodore B. Feldman[edit]

I have removed again reference to "Theodore B. Feldman" in this article. I'd like to explain why.

The article first of says;

"Best Love Song" feels like a straightforward pop song with gentle piano flourishes that speed up as the song moves into the chorus about making everyone in the stadium fall in love thanks to the rising, unknown lyricist, Theodore B. Feldman."

This sentence makes no sense for a start. The song is about how the lyricist Theodore B. Feldman made everyone in the stadium fall in love? Secondly the phrase "rising" is not neutral, it is expressing an opinion about Feldman.

It then says;

"Theodore wrote the song (Minus Chris Brown's Verse) throughout the winter of 2010."

Firstly, we do not refer to people using their first names, it is overly familiar. Secondly, as with all this material this fact is not cited. The reader has no way of verifying whether this is true or not. I've also done a bit of a look around, and I cannot find any reference of this name in connection with this song.

"Deals were made and demos quickly followed upon his swift visit to Chicago back that November to meet with Mr. Najm himself regarding his work."

Again, this is uncited. It also pre-supposes that the reader knows who "Mr Najm himself" is, as this is never explained. Words like "swift" and "quickly" are also opinions that are best avoided.

The article also list Feldman in the info box, along with a link to reverbnation.com. This verifies nothing on this article. Reverbnation.com also contains user generated content, anyone can list themselves there and claim anything.

The IP editor adding this quotes "LEGALAUTH: NL140-ACD-72971". I have no idea what this is referring to. Could you explain?

There is a simple way to ensure that Feldman is properly credited on this page. Cite (that means add a link to) a Reliable Source that credits him as lyricist. Once that is done, and the above few bits are tidied up, there is no problem with him appearing on this page. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:37, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
