The title of this article is conjectural. Timetables from the period refer to Allentown–Bethlehem–Philadelphia and Bethlehem–Quakertown–Philadelphia (i.e. descriptive names). A SEPTA employee timetable from 2000 calls the physical line north of Lansdale the "Bethlehem Line" (and I believe this is still the case). Invariably when the SEPTA Regional Rail lines acquired names they were named after their termini, and for all but a year that was Bethlehem. Mackensen (talk) 00:48, 16 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
