Use of question marks in Infbox?
[edit]The infobox has a bunch of question marks (?) next to some of the Ethnicity and Dialects for Ganulu, Nguri, and Yagalingu. Is there any reason for this? If there's no sources to back up the inclusion of these details should they be removed? Or am I missing where they've been referenced? Jimmyjrg (talk) 04:49, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- The dialects are referenced to the AIATSIS Austlang database in the list further down in the infobox, some with variant spelling which has since been updated. Some of these had links which didn't work any longer so I added them as refs when the infobox ran out of numbers. I don't know enough about the dialects and it would take a lot of time to research them thoroughly, so for now I have just removed the question marks. There is quite often revision and updating over time, or disagreement among linguists about dialects, I think. If someone has the time and knowledge to write up more about the dialects in the body of the article it would be nice, but I don't see this happening in the short term.
