This article confuses invincibility and invulnerability[edit]

Invincibility is the quality of being undefeatable whereas invulnerability is the quality of being impervious to being harmed. They are not interchangeable and where this article says "invincible" they mean "invulnerable". —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.153.241.54 (talk) 23:35, 13 February 2007 (UTC).

so basically mark johnson lied well thats great......?????

Mephisto/Mephistopheles[edit]

Mephisto is the name used in the comic books, while Mephistopheles is the name used in the film. Since this article is about the comic book character Blackheart, his father's name should be the one used in the comics. oobugtalk/contrib 00:58, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Blackheart as Legion[edit]

I really don't think there is any "maybe" about the use of Legion being a reference to the biblical passage. The line "For we are many..." is a direct quote. Even if we assume they used another reference for it, it ultimately derives from the biblical mention, and as such should not really have any doubt attached to it. Copyright violation[edit]

I've removed the bulk of material that was copied from here in this edit. I've double checked and everything else looks OK but it needs a couple of extra pairs of eyes on it to make sure. (Emperor 00:21, 4 May 2007 (UTC))

Damn that is obnoxious. Couldn't get the warning to go two pages and blink? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.184.244.232 (talk) 22:48, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
How much more needs to go. CorleoneSerpicoMontana 01:14, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
Well I've removed what I think where the troublesome bits. If someone else wants to double check and think it looks fine then they can take the tags off. (Emperor 01:24, 5 May 2007 (UTC))
How is this copyright violation if the Marvel Database licenses its content under GFDL as well?
--72.143.69.165 03:29, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
If that's the case, I'd think that it's not. 71.203.209.0 22:35, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I agree. Also that database sites this article as reference! Hence, I'd be reverting User:Emperor's edits. --Gurubrahma 16:15, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm afraid the situation isn't quite so simple. I asked for a second opinion on the comics project talk page and the verdict is that it is copyright violation [1]. Even if it was a bit of a greay area we'd have to err on the side of caution. If you have any further questions on that then feel free to raise them on the comics talk page (you'll need to start a new thread as that is archived) as it is an important issue and could set precedents for other entries so it is something that needs to be dealt with on a project-wide basis, (Emperor 16:21, 18 May 2007 (UTC))

re-indenting Fair call. In such a case, it makes immense sense to give the name of the handbook as the source of copyvio rather than the URL because the URL cites Wikipedia as a source. Else, any admin who wd see the listing on WP:CP would end up with the same action as mine as he would not know the backstory. :) I'm undoing my rvt for now. Act as per the consensus. --Gurubrahma 16:35, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Blackheart.jpg[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

Image:Blackheart.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 14:32, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Blackheart/Mephisto[edit]

So, is Blackheart more powerful than Mephisto? The article definitely makes it sound that way or are they just really too close for any sort of judgement to be made? Rajrajmarley (talk) 01:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
