Game results[edit]

This page should not have any game results or details, only informations about the competitions, like games hosted in different countries. If a game is really important it may be indicated in the History of rugby union matches between Australia and New Zealand page, which now hold details about who won the cup each year. I agree with the above results should be held on a different page. In addition Looking through the results list Stadium names should be standardised for example Stadium Australia is listed as Telstra Stadium and also ANZ Stadium in the same list which is confusing as it makes it sound like three different Stadiums. Same with Melbournes Etihad Stadium should be Docklands Stadium.......advertising names should be removed from articles like this and saved for the main article about the Stadium.Anderch (talk) 04:34, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Question, why is "World's Largest Pavlova" listed under See Also? I don't get how it's at all related. Apart from this excerpt from the Pavlova page: "In August 2010, chef Aaron Campbell displayed a 50 square metre rugby-themed pavlova, with the Bledisloe Cup in the centre, in the ChristChurch Cathedral in Christchurch, to raise money for the official charity of the All Blacks." Is that enough for it to belong on this page? Stick (talk) 08:15, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Walker and Hall[edit]

The silversmithing firm Walker and Hall had its main factory and workshops in Sheffield, Yorkshire and, as far as I know, only a saleroom in London. Is the article mistaken or is there something unusual about the cup's manufacture? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:37, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

I recall my grandfather telling me that is so large as the cup was spec'ed in metric but the makers interpreted it in inches. Can anyone confirm this122.56.206.75 (talk) 09:26, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Philipbrough 21:05, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Comment in the History section "Nowadays this trophy is played out to decide which is the 7th and 8th best Rugby Union side in the world. Both sides having been overtaken by South Africa, England, Argentina, France, Fiji and Scotland in the world order." This comment is trash! As a northern hemisphere Englishman, NZ and Oz are seen as two of the best 3 or 4 teams in the world- the comment above originates as a Northern Hemisphere joke due to both teams' poor performance at Rugby World Cup 2007 - needs to be edited out.Philipbrough 21:05, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
