What does the sentence actually mean?
[edit]What does the sentence 'Babbitt traded off sessions with original Motown bassist James Jamerson.' actually mean? Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 11:56, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
Scorpio
[edit]Suggestion: Babbitt's contribution to "Scorpio" arguably belongs in the previous paragraph as a "notable bass performance," considering he had a lengthy bass solo in the middle of the song. I can't think of any other top 40 hits in which a long bass solo was featured so prominently. It's my understanding that this recording raised Babbitt's profile significantly among musicians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcknigs (talk • contribs) 14:45, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
