women's monobob
[edit]I really am unsure of what the standings should be. It appears that the "world series" standings are achieved by the athletes best 5 results, I don't know why, and the updated rules say that all competitions are to use the best 7 results. Anybody have any information on this?18abruce (talk) 12:44, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
- And actually reading the rules leads to several other issues with the women's qualifying that we have been all getting wrong. The combined ranking is supposed to be used in 2-woman and monobob for most of the quotas.18abruce (talk) 13:03, 8 January 2022 (UTC)
November Altenberg EC
[edit]For some reason the results of the monobob and 2-women competitions from this event are not being counted, don't know why. If it is counted it moves the Ukrainian monobob into Olympic qualifying position and the 2 women into 3rd reserve. It would be helpful if someone has the story on this.18abruce (talk) 22:10, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
the rules.
[edit]Multiple editors are simply posting the IBSF ranking, which contains the 8 best results. The rules were modified in December to say the best 7 matter for Olympic qualification. Please discuss here if I am missing something.18abruce (talk) 18:31, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
- I don't see anything wrong with your interpretation. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 00:27, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
