Hero[edit]

[1] THE PNEUMATIC OF HERO OF ALEXANDRIA Shows these devices and principles . The sources cited in the article do not claim invention of any of them by the Musa Bros. They were translators and transmitters and very ingenious but they built on a foundation that should not be ignored. It is not required to be first to be important.J8079s (talk) 04:48, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

Indeed, the water organ they describe well predates their time. This page needs editing to replace the word "invention" with "description", unless there is autonomous evidence that they did indeed invent a particular mechanism, which is quite possible.
