NPOV

[edit]

There was an NPOV tag on this page, but no explanation why, and aside from the words "good quality" and "fine" (now duly excised) I can't find anything very POV-y about it. So the tag is gone now. Jpatokal 14:31, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Coffee Cheese"

[edit]

Missing a mention of the tradition of producing and eating this type of cheese in northern Sweden. In Swedish it's called kaffeost, "coffee cheese". /141018 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.209.133.24 (talk) 16:51, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cow, goat, or reindeer milk?

[edit]

Is this cheese traditionally or commonly made with goat or reindeer milk, or is that just something that is possible, but not usual? — HTGS (talk) 22:58, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've never heard of it being made with anything other than cow milk. Goats are rare in Finland and reindeer milk is too expensive for commerical cheese production. Jpatokal (talk) 10:36, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
