Woman-boy Statutory Rape

Corrected the female sex offender denial/apologetics (see https://www.amazon.com/Perspectives-Female-Sex-Offending-Culture/dp/1138250007) by correctly characterizing Eva's statory rapes of Pikelet and by removing the ridiculous notion that her rape of Pikelet was part of an affair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.235.9.45 (talk) 00:47, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Quite clearly both the novel and the film depict repeated woman-boy statutory rape and NOT an 'affair' or a sexual 'relationship' based on Aussie law below:

Australian Capital Territory It is an offence in the Australian Capital Territory to have sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16.[4] However, it is a defence if the younger party was aged 10 years or older and the offender was not more than 2 years older than the younger party.[5] It is also an offence to have sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 18 if that person is under the care of the offender (guardian, teacher etc.).[6] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.73.23.171 (talk) 00:56, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

At least in the film, Bruce Pike is a quite willing participant with prior attraction to Eva Sanderson, so I think the phrasing makes it look worse than what is actually described. It's still pretty bad on many levels, though. 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 11:42, 4 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
