Who is he?

[edit]

not knowing who this is, and after reading the text, I'm still left with bewilderment. As is, this article does not really indicate anything other than (1) this is a talented guy (2) some irrelevent family info and (3) some obscured career info. What's his biggest hit? Why is he so beloved? Where have i heard him? That's what the opening of thios article needs; if I knew, I'd add it. 70.17.135.67 09:40, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brian is generally considered one of the best R&B vocalists of his generation. He is often referred to as the Marvin Gaye and/or the Luther Vandross of his era. HIs hits "Back At One' and "Anytime" have been staples at weddings since their release in the 1990's.

A bit of Controversy

[edit]

Well, I would say that his biggest hit or breakout hit if you will is Anytime. But, ther eis a bit of controversy to that song. It has been known for years that the song either samples or the melody is the same as a song by Meshell Ndegeocello called Outside Your Door off her Plantation Lullabye CD.

She is best known for If that was your boyfriend (He wasn't last night). Now nothing has been settled in lawsuits or anything, but this has sparked a debate or two. I don't have a credible source to put this on this page but I'm sure someone can help on this... 66.118.236.226 18:50, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seventh-day Adventist?

[edit]

Is McKnight a Seventh-day Adventist, or a former one? One of the categories Category:Seventh-day Adventists or Category:Former Seventh-day Adventists would be appropriate. Colin MacLaurin 18:56, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Playgirl

[edit]

It was rumored (and confirmed) that Brian was in talks to pose for Playgirl. The info used to be here, but now it is gone? What happened? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.83.231.100 (talk) 19:09, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

School

Didn't he go to school at Sweet Home High School?--Cartman005 02:47, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Life has changed album

[edit]

Hi

In August 2008, it was advertised on this wiki that McKnight had launched an album call Life Has Changed. I no longer see this. Is this declared null and void now? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.243.218.244 (talk) 09:08, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
