"... continues his autobiography until present."[edit]

The sentence containing that phrase had already been false for a half year when contributed in November, as he's not dead yet, unless he lied. We'd best take him at his word: "I'll end where I began, on my seventieth birthday,...", per page 437 of the topic work.

Careless of me, make that read "over 4 years", and refer to the idea the sentence expresses, not the barely month-old sentence.

  • Oppose Seems a common name Hhkohh (talk) 00:59, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Hhkohh: How do you reconcile your position with our book-specific guideline, WP:SUBTITLE, which states:

Usually, a Wikipedia article on a book (or other medium, such as a movie, TV special or video game) does not include its subtitle in the Wikipedia page name, per WP:CONCISE. The only exception to that is short article titles, for disambiguation purposes.

WP:SUBTITLE is not a policy, just a guideline, see also WP:COMMONNAME and other related policy Hhkohh (talk) 09:50, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support I see no issue with the requested move, and it abides by the given guideline. -- AlexTW 03:41, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose no, better with the full title. More helpful, clearer. And more in line with review references to a recent book. In ictu oculi (talkcontribs) 07:34, 10 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - guideline cited was based on a flawed assumption. Books and other media items are usually referred to the first time by the full long name and then for brevity, just continue using the short version. --Gonnym (talk) 21:58, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
