Refitted cabs
[edit]What about trying to get an image of one of the 318's that has the newer style drivers can? Douglasnicol 15:41, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
Do you want an outside picture? I'll try and get one with a PIS system on. If at all possible, I'll get Citizen's Network (318 259) Doctor Flange
Thanks to Doctor Flange for the picture of the refitted 318, it shows how different the refit looks externally. Douglasnicol 13:51, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
Pictures
[edit]Hi guys
I've added a few pictures today. Do you think we have too many pictures on this page? Should I get clear interior shots of old and new 318's?
I saw Citizen's Network at Partick today and used the opportunity to take a few pictures.
Thanks to whoever tidied up the edit I did earlier today (I added the 318/320 coupling information). I have a picture of such a coupling if anyone doesn't believe it to be real :)
Keep up the good work guys.
Doctor Flange.
Largs
[edit]Some nonsense had crept in about houses, the crash went through shops at the front of the station, reaching a car parking area on Main Street, Largs. RAILSCOT | Photographs of Largs has the description "Accident at Largs on 11 July 1995 involving the 0615 service from Glasgow Central. The trains brakes failed, it hit the buffers, jumped 3 feet in the air, ran on through the station, then through the shops on Main Street. [Witness statement at the time]. Remarkably there were no serious injuries...but Largs station was never the same again!" [italics in original] dunno if that's a good source, . . dave souza, talk 19:41, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
