No map?[edit]

I canoed in Brule Lake many years ago. Surprised to see this entry but suggest it would be much better with a map showing Brule and nearby lakes. Sca (talk) 13:56, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with expression[edit]

Congrats on DYK! It needs some editting.

Out of each end flow the Temperance River and the South Brule, a tributary of the Brule River. Brule Lake was logged heavily in the early 1900s, and the region around it was....

  • The rivers don't both flow out of "each end", surely? They either both flow in one end out the other, or else they flow out of opposite ends.
  • Brule Lake wasn't logged. Not unless it was a very unusual lake. It was the area, region or valley or shore that was logged, but not Brule Lake.

Can you do a careful scrutiny for other such errors of expression?

Feel free to do so, but style has never been my forte. Norstrem (talk) 18:46, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
