The sources cited in this article are extremely credible, most of which are newspaper articles that were written in the context of the brumby shootings. However, many of the sections in this article are solely quotations from these articles without any context or introduction. I have added some context to the quotations which I could find sufficient information on, but I could not rectify all the parts. The current quotation-heavy style may obfuscate the information for readers, especially those who do not understand the language and slang used in the late 19th century.
