Rewording

[edit]
The movie Spy Game is the only instance where a burn bag is prominently used, abeit in an illegal manner.

I have changed the illegal to unintended, because there probably is no law anywhere that explicitly forbids the use of burn bags for any purpose other than to store documents for destuction. The bag was just being used in a manner that the makers did not expect (they did not intend it to be used that way), that's all. It was not being used in a way that broke any law (which would justify using the word "illegal"). Kimchi.sg 20:27, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This probably should have had a citation before it was displayed on the main page - IIRC in the movie "Clear and Present Danger" Jack Ryan uses a burn bag.--Thud495 20:45, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

here is a great image of a burn bag in real life. I assume it is a government photo. Maybe we can track it down. Kingturtle = (talk) 05:27, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
