Management
[edit]"A stipulation in the agreement with the National Trust stated that Buscot would be leased to the Barons Faringdon, enabling them to remain in residence". This is an unusual arrangement, and it would be interesting to know how successful it has been. Deipnosophista (talk) 09:26, 13 May 2017 (UTC)
- Not that unusual, the de Rothschild family continue to live at Ascott House, the Sackvilles at Knowle and the Nicholsons at Sissinghurst Castle to name but just a few who have retained the right to live in houses givens to the NT. At Buscot, it has been fairly successful, the family inhabit the house in winter and and in summer spend their time in smaller Palladian style house which they have built in the garden. - The arrangement I find particularly interesting is that at Clytha Park. Here, the owner lives in the house which is only ever opened for groups by prior written appointment (i.e. practically never). KJP1 (talk) 06:59, 9 September 2017 (UTC)

National Trust pilot
[edit]Hello! During late June, July and some of August, I'm working on a paid project sponsored by the National Trust to review and enhance coverage of NT sites. You can find the pilot edits here, as well as a statement and contact details for the National Trust. I am leaving this message when I make a first edit to a page; please do get in touch if you have any concerns. Lajmmoore (talk) 16:25, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
