Birth date?[edit]

I realize that in the movie, it is implied that both Beavis and Butt-Head were conceived on the same night and therefor must have been born fairly close to each other, but how can a specific date be given for Butt-Head's birth?74.131.179.238 (talk) 23:06, 14 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Butt-Head vs. Butt-head vs. Butthead[edit]

Looking at usage is nearly pointless. Even "official" sites diFAe a hyphen, so Butthead is out. Between the remaining two names, Butt-head seems to be the predominant choice (and the grammatically correct one as well.) —Doug Bell talk 00:01, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note that there was a previous discussion on this matter that also failed to reach a conclusion. —Doug Bell talk 15:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, if you watch the show itself, Head is referred to as his last name multiple times, making Head with a capital H and Butt-Head the logical choice. Shortneckbeard (talk) 22:24, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Butt-headprofile.jpg[edit]

Image:Butt-headprofile.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:00, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

==Beavis and Butt-head's relationship== Are they GAy?

I think that their lack of concern for each other doesn't so much come from dislike as it does from the fact that they can't fully comprehend the danger the other is in. This is partially confirmed by a Mike Judge interview, where he says that the two aren't actively malicious, but unable to understand the consequences of their actions. In the case of "Choked", Beavis just kept forgetting the problem and became distracted.--24.255.171.220 (talk) 01:33, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image?[edit]

Someone removed the image of Butt-Head. Now how is anyone gonna want to come to this page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.78.5.114 (talk) 00:05, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uh, huh-huh, uh... yeah. Uh... we, like - need a picture of Butt-Head or something. Beavis has a picture. I am aware that they are still copyrighted. But it seems to me that we must have some excuse for a fair-use rationale here. An article about Butt-Head without the picture is a major elephant-in-the-room omission. Especially considering he is an animated, drawn character. 170.63.96.108 (talk) 21:09, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, heh heh, someone removed your photo, Butt-Head. Heh heh heh. Why the hell did they remove your photo? Whoever did this is gonna get his ass kicked! Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh! (talk) (72.78.5.114 quoting Beavis)

Cornholio?[edit]

Does butthead have an alter ego like cornholio? I've seen him with his shirt over his head like beavis but does he become something like cornholio?Lasttiger (talk) 22:04, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional character: citation needed?[edit]

Why is there "citation needed" after describing Butt-head as a fictional character? How is he NOT a fictional character? 98.199.232.32 (talk) 05:01, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. 98.199.232.32 (talk) 07:15, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Boothroid"[edit]

The article assumes that it's his real surname. It's not the first time in this series his name has been mispronounced. It could also have been misspelled by Butt-Head 172.103.181.56 (talk) 07:08, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah from the context I thought it was clear that it was the reporter struggling with a hastily-scrawled "Butt-Head" and trying to pronounce it. Possibly the a looked like a u, seeing an -eud ending and trying to rhyme it with Freud. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:448:C300:6E10:9DD3:258C:89C2:ADB1 (talk) 21:29, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
