Byzantine–Georgian wars → Georgian–Byzantine wars – Georgian kings initiated mostly the wars per claims over the north-eastern lands of Anatolia, that were absorbed by the Byzantine Empire. An emperor ✖ 05:52, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Alphabetical order is superior to trying to figure out reasons for putting one country or another first. Srnec (talk) 19:09, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Srnec, how so? Should we make Russo-Georgian War into Georgian-Russian War based on that reason? An emperor ✖ 00:51, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- "Russo-" is a combining form. Also, Russo-Georgian War is an established term/name. We don't have to discuss the order because we aren't making it up. Our hands are tied. However, both "Byzantine–Georgian wars" and "Georgian–Byzantine wars" are descriptive titles. Neither is an established term. In other words, Wikipedians invented the title to describe the topic, which does not have a set description (name) in the sources. Such titles must be neutral. The title of the Russo-Georgian War does not, in fact, have to be neutral, so long as it is the established name. Srnec (talk) 01:03, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Srnec Thank you for voting. An emperor ✖ 13:03, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

- Oppose better to use alphabetical order. Super Dromaeosaurus (talk) 11:56, 13 September 2023 (UTC)

- Weak oppose. Seems unnecessary. Maybe "Georgian–Byzantine wars" could be a redirect? Professor Penguino (talk) 04:49, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
