New Major Additions to Article

[edit]

Hello fellow Wikipedians!

As part of a University Course in the second half of this year I have worked to improve this article and have added approximately 2000 words of content. My additions have included adding the sections; Impact and Government response and have also added to the lead and background. I have also added associated media, references, hyperlinks and categories. Feel free to provide any feedback, improvements or queries associated with my changes so that the quality of this article can be maximised. Kamuwlym. (talk) 01:24, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I’m a student at the University of Sydney, studying Bachelor of Medical Science in a Wikipedia Education class, and I’m currently learning how edit and contribute to Wikipedia. My tutor is R stasey. Kamuwlym. (talk) 01:08, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

That's a nice way of putting it. :-) However, you forgot to sign your post with the four tildes so I don't even know who you are? (@User:R stasey). I like your setup though, didn't know that Australian universities were also doing this now. Sounds great! Have a look at an online edit-a-thon I ran recently, might have some useful resources. See here. I'm also in Australia (Brisbane). EMsmile (talk) 03:44, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the reminder and resource! Kamuwlym. (talk) 01:08, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
