another 2008 film on Chess?
[edit]the Muddy Waters article mentions another (?) 2008 film about Chess, entitled Who Do You Love - and this link was provided to support it: [1] i'm hoping someone here could clarify whether there really are two different 2008 films on the same subject, or if Who Do You Love is an alternative title for Cadillac Records or what. thanks for any clarity ... External link suggestion
[edit]As an editor at Crawdaddy!, and to comply with COI guidelines, I am not posting the link to this article comparing Cadillac Records to the actual story of Chess Records. However, I would like to recommend it on its merits, and hope that an editor will find the time to examine the review and—if he or she sees fit—post it to the external links section. I appreciate your time. Crawdaddy! [2]

Discrepancies
[edit]Any thoughts on adding a 'discrepancies' section? There were a few glaring liberties taken with history in the film, and it may serve the article to add a section pointing a few of them out. One I can think of off hand is the death scene of Len Chess. He didn't die leaving the studio, but several months after he sold it. Further on this point, Etta James could not have played Chess "I'd Rather Go Blind" for the first time just after the sale of the studio since that song was recorded in 1968 and the studio was sold in 1969. --Bentonia School (talk) 13:51, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
- Seriously. What about Little Walter murdering an imposter or taking a beating by police right in front of Chess HQ? Or Walter dying in Geneva's arms? What about the overblown acrimony between Waters and Wolf? There's so much added garbage in this movie that it completely alters the viewers perception of who these people were and what their relationships were like. Jyg (talk) 19:03, 23 June 2017 (UTC)
