Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 46 → Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 46 – The "Space" prefix is in use for more than 10 years for this launch site. That this name is in use can be verified from e.g. the links in the article. A name in common use is a good reason for a name change (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Moving_a_page#Reasons_for_moving_a_page).
Quite recently there was a big Cape Canaveral renaming action (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=953778893#Proposed_rename_of_Cape_Canaveral_Space_Force_Station_articles), involving making all names similar. The LC to SLC change was not considered there, this kind of change was not the scope of that change. Robijn (talk) 18:55, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
