Alicia is being trained in pediatrics's; job role may need changing. I would do it myself, however, due to vandalism committed by idiots fans like me are no longer able to edit the page. Bowyer12 (talk) 20:50, 25 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. L293D ( • ) 19:23, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Bowyer12: I haven't seen the episode yet (although I know which you are referring to), but has she begun a speciality in paediatrics? Soaper1234 - talk 09:36, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah she has. Much like Tome Kent when he studied peadeatric emergency medicine. She told Connie was and as since been specialising in that area :). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 07:18, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Which "guest characters" to include?

[edit]

@Bowyer12 and Soaper1234: Do we include all characters, or only "significant" characters? The characters which were deleted twice from this article, and were omitted before, are:

  • Ade and Paul Terrent were seen much in episode 8 and by misusing a medication they caused a serious traffic accident. I saw this episode and they seemed to be roles as significant as the rest in this episode. For example, Paul fainted at the wheel and Ade had to try to steer by leaning over from the back seat to what of the steering wheel that he could reach.
  • Representing Omo Masters's 3 schizophrenic head voices (named Liar and Guilt and Fear in Episode 8's end-credits) by (voice-only) actors is unusual and worthy of mention. And her schizophrenia was important in the episode.

We again seem to the having the old war between exclusionists and inclusionists. Often one man's trivia or cruft is another man's important relevant matter. As regards references, surely the episode's end-credits are a valid reference? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:27, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Guests Characters are usually significant characters who make an appearance. If we added all characters who appear in every episode as guests then there would be to many charcters in that section :). Guest roles are often significant characters who are already established (e.g. Zoe Hannah returning the previous season), the actor who portrays them is well known (e.g. Sharon Gless), they are an established character in Holby City (e.g. Jac Naylor), or they are involved in a storyline which overlaps with the main characters own. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 06:19, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Those characters that you have mentioned have appeared in the episode, although they are not significant characters in the series/to the show. Perhaps if these characters appear again, they can be added to the list. Just to run through a basic idea of which guest characters are included. I would say that they can be split into 3 categories (based on series 32):
I would say these are the generally categories, although there can be a few exceptions to this, such as Zsa Zsa Harper-Jenkinson. Hope this makes sense. Soaper1234 - talk 11:11, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Episode summaries

[edit]

Just thought I would mention that the episodes for series 33 have not been given summaries for a while. Is there a reason for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 14:44, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bowyer12: It's because nobody has added a summary for them. Feel free to do so! Soaper1234 - talk 17:36, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. Just thought I would check first just in case. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 20:12, 2 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any viewing figures available as they have not been updated in a while? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 17:52, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Source used for the current figures has been archived but the same information is available from the four-screen dashboard. Thought about it earlier today, asked at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television. Matt14451 (talk) 17:55, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! Could the same be done for Holby City viewing figures? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 08:58, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The discussion is ongoing there so the type of figures might change. I used 28-day TV-only figures with 7-day TV-only at the end temporarily with a note. Holby City can be updated using the same source. Matt14451 (talk) 09:01, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to find Holby City's viewing figures, however, I am having trouble. Is there anyone who could do this to make the page appear more complete? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 12:00, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to be a pain, but I am continuing to struggle with locating the viewing figures for Casualty. I feel without them it makes the page appear incomplete. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 19:09, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have tried to help :) Soaper1234 - talk 20:57, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Guest episode counts

[edit]

Little bit of bother with an editor who removed information from the cast section. I believe he is attempted to remove all information in brackets beside characters (which gives info on when they have entered the series, left the series, or what episodes they have entered and departed during the same series). I think he is doing it for a specific reason, however, if he removes them I just feel the cast section does not give enough information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowyer12 (talkcontribs) 12:46, 22 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bowyer12, episode counts and distinguishing is distinctly not allowed per MOS:TVCAST: The cast listing should not contain an episode count, e.g. (6 episodes) or (episodes 1–6), to indicate the number of episodes in which the actor or character appeared. -- /Alex/21 09:22, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Information about the comings and going of characters is already mentioned (and sourced) within the Overview section, so it was just repeated info. Frankly, the lists look better without the episode count. - JuneGloom07 Talk 18:10, 26 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode summaries (part 2)

[edit]

It seems as though the episode summaries have been neglected since December 2018, and I'm going to attempt working on them over the next few days/weeks. Does anyone want to help, eg half each? If not, I'll do it. – DarkGlow (talk) 12:33, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
