Talk:Center for Urban and Environmental Studies - urbam EAFIT
Requested move 9 May 2022
[edit]- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: no consensus to move the page to the proposed title at this time, per the discussion below. As an editorial action (which can be reverted if needed), I will redirect this to the university page as suggested below, and anyone should feel free to merge article text to the university's article if that's warranted. Center for Urban and Environmental Studies - urbam EAFIT → Urbam – It's unclear from the article and sources what the name of this institution is. The title of the article is using the original name ("Center for Urban and Environmental Studies") and the new name ("urbam EAFIT") per the article lead, which should not happen. However, the official website ([1]) just calls it "urbam" and not "urbam EAFIT". I'm proposing the name used by the website, but if someone knows better, please let me know. - Honestly, I'd be more inclined to just redirect this to EAFIT University – it's a research center that belongs to that university, and the article is almost entirely sourced to the university's website. Richard3120 (talk) 21:19, 9 May 2022 (UTC)
- I would agree with a merge to EAFIT University. The multiple single-line sections could be collapsed into a paragraph, which is all that is needed on this subject. BD2412 T 02:48, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
