Origin of "Chéticamp"[edit]

I don't think that's where the name comes from. Someone must have put that in because the name sounds like "shitty camp". -- Denelson83 10:56, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I haven't been on Cape Breton in 40 years, but I pronounce "Cheticamp" as English, with a 'p' and an English 'ch'. What is the correct pronunciation as an English name? Varlaam (talk) 14:46, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
