Title is in error![edit]

Champlain Park is the proper name of this specific neighbourhood. The name "Old Ottawa West" once applied generally to a group of smaller subdivisions in this rough area, but has never applied to Champlain Park itself, and the term is never used by residents or municipal government. The original name given to the Champlain Park subdivision was "Riverside Park", which was changed to Champlain Park when the community became part of the City of Ottawa.

When I search for "Ottawa West" in the Atlas of Canada it gives me the location of this neighbourhood and a map with the area labelled as "Ottawa West". Perhaps this article could be re-named, but denying it is sometimes labelled Ottawa West on maps would be factually incorrect. -- Earl Andrew - talk 15:05, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
