Expansion areas
[edit]This article has the potential to move quickly to B class; some areas of growth are obvious, such as scope, more on functions (without over-quoting but this is fundamental), but what of:
Key investigations I think we should include a section on prominent investigations - Solas (the Galway cinema), Ataxia Ireland, Bothar, the NUIG foundation, etc.?, and I think we definitely also need to reference what happened to the volunteer trustees appointed to the Animal Heaven (though unpaid volunteers, they got pursued for a tax liability which pre-existed their appointment, ending up with huge legal fees). Opinions?
Key figures I think we need to open a short governance section, and should consider mentioning at least a few names (most of the board members are legal figures not meeting notability for WP articles, so just mentions for the CEO, Chair, ...).
Charities Appeals Tribunal This most obscure body exists only since 2018, and only to handle very limited appeals from the Regulator, so I don't think a separate article is warranted.
Criticism / controversies does not seem substantial enough for a section yet (there's the trustee issue, but otherwise points like under-staffing or ability to be proactive seem premature, as the Act is still not even fully commenced), and images look like a challenge, hard to envisage many relevant. Any other suggestions..? SeoR (talk) 10:13, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
