Precision of Length

[edit]

== Didn't his hiccup attack begin in February of 1922 thereby actually lasting longer than 69 years?

the article on "hiccups" quotes 68 years as opposed to the 69 years stated here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.58.241.190 (talk) 02:56, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What cured him?

[edit]

So ... what finally cured him of his hiccups?

certainly should be because of Death —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.28.192 (talk) 18:49, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

This Charles Osborne needs to be disambiguated from the author(s) called Charles Osborne (see pages linking here). ChKa 20:48, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some closure

[edit]

Is there any record of how he reacted to no longer hiccuping? That's the part that seems like it would be most interesting.

i remember having read in the guinness book of records that he sought surgery, more precisely for the "nerve" causing the hiccups to be "grinded." i didn't remember he died a year after, though. Twipley (talk) 00:21, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why redirect this article?

[edit]

This is an artcle! There is no need to redirect it. The article existed for THIRTEEN years until someone, without discussion, first decided to turn this article into a redirect claiming (but not proving) that Mr. Osborne is not notable. Attempts to restore the article were since reverted, and also without any discussion at all. That's not the way things should go on the Wikipedia. Such matters need to be discussed and THREE people failed to do so! What a shame! --Maxl (talk) 12:08, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
