Merger proposal[edit]

The result of this discussion was to merge (see comment below) Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 05:53, 9 December 2013 (UTC)

List of Chase episodes should be merged into this article as the TV show only has one season. Other shows usually don't even get a "List of ... episodes" article until the second season has started airing. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 22:37, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Completely disagree. 29 refs is enough to justify the page's existence, and we don't want the table to clutter up this page.Caringtype1 (talk) 22:53, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
Comment Actually, 18 of those are the number of viewers. Look at (almost) ANY TV show article with only one season and you'll see that the list of episodes are on the main article.Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 01:42, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
Just because other pages do something, doesn't mean this page has to.Caringtype1 (talk) 15:29, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
That's the same as saying "just because everyone else is going to school doesn't mean I have to". Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 04:15, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
No it isn't, see this.Caringtype1 (talk) 19:39, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
Your point being? That page is about deletion discussion and this is a merger proposal. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 21:10, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
It still applies. Just because most other shows that lasted one season had their episode articles merged, doesn't mean we have to do it here.Caringtype1 (talk) 21:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────It doesn't apply. Deletion differs from merging. As in, when an article gets deleted, the entire content is removed without leaving redirect. When an article gets merged, its content is merged into the other article and original page is redirected. It should be done here because the show isn't exactly of top importance or its coverage is that wide and having only one season doesn't merit its own "List of episodes" page. It's unnecessary. Also, read this. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 01:27, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

It does apply. it doesn't matter what page if came from! I never even read that page, but the principle that other pages doing something, doesn't mean every page has to. The fact that you're so caught up on which page it came from, proves you don't have an actual argument.Caringtype1 (talk) 15:35, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
That page is for arguments not to use in a deletion discussion. Not only is the wiki policy that you pointed to contradicting your initial argument, but the fact that you didn't even read it seems to undermine your whole ability to objectively come to consensus here. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 23:03, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
I'm not going to have an argument with someone who obviously isn't capable of having a discussion.Caringtype1 (talk) 18:28, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Ditto.Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 19:08, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
Since no one seems to be interested in engaging in the discussion with actual arguments pointing to the notability of the "List of.." page and/or its necessity for existence I will be going ahead with the merge. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 05:40, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
