Talk:Chief diversity officer
This article is rated Start-class on Wikipedia's content assessment scale. It is of interest to the following WikiProjects: | ||||||||||||||||||

The content has been rephrased to de-emphasize the point that people turn to Diversity training University for certification. I can see how this is objectionable, but the point is that few professionals find themselves well-equipped for the job. They do turn to Diversity Training University International in an effort to learn what is needed to be less overwhelmed. But it is true that there are about three well known certification agencies. The interview quote from Billy Vaughn was used as a way to show an expert's experience. Hope this helps. Another concern is that the research section descriptions appear to highlight the authors Damon Williams and Katrina Wade_Golden instead of the research itself. This content is more appropriate in a biographical section rather than in an article about the chief diversity officer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonas bohman (talk • contribs) 19:43, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- The last concern is solved. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Damon A Williams. Regards,Jeff5102 (talk) 20:38, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
Should this article be completely rewritten?
[edit]Unfortunately this article does not at all explain what a Chief Diversity Officer is and what responsibilities this officer has in the organization. The article only includes a brief historical background section that is of little informative value, and a "Credentialing" section which is also not informative (and was indicated to be promoting the subject matter in a subjective manner). If anyone could rewrite this whole article — this would be great! --DvirG (talk) 19:55, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
