Looking through existing citations

[edit]

I saw the template for necessary citations and tried to look through existing cited sources to see what's lacking. Problem is Etnologue - a cited reference, which I suppose is a source of reliable data about history and teritorial usage of this language in Mexico - requires an annual fee of $ 480 /year - which with my current other commitments is out of reach, so I currently can't help. Is there a better way to access such resources I am unaware of? --Marjan Tomki SI (talk) 10:50, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

More than 100 years after the arrival of the settlers, the Venetian dialect is widespread throughout its main city and nationwide?

[edit]

Does anyone know what this is supposed to mean? More than 100 years after the arrival of the settlers, the Venetian dialect is widespread throughout its main city and nationwide. I assume it means Venetan rather than the language of Venice, but where? What "main city" - Chipilo? And what is "nationwide" meant to refer to, i.e. which nation? Obviously, no variety of Venetan is used nationwide in either Mexico or Italy. Barefoot through the chollas (talk) 18:35, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
