Comments
- Four para lead is far too much, two large paras is fine for an article of this modest size.
- "off white" wouldn't that be hyphenated in this adjectival usage?
- Done.
- What's a supercilium?
- Linked.
- "has 9 subspecies" nine.
- Done.
- You use "It..." about nine consecutive times in the lead. Occasionally throw back to the name.
- Done.
- "May-June or October-January" I would use prose, i.e. May to June, or October to January...
- Done
- " are incubated by" links to a dab page.
- Fixed.
- "an onomatopoeia.[1] Vieillot" care to explain?
- Added.
- "migrates" could link this.
- Linked.
- "nominate race" is race the right word, not species?
- Race is used as a synonym for subspecies, but I'll replace it for clarity.
- "A chivi viero in Sao Paulo, Brazil." fragment, no full stop required.
- Done.
- Not sure you need to link colours like "pale brown". Body parts should be linked however, especially if they're not obvious like "beak".
- Removed links for some of the more obvious colors, and added for the body parts that were unlinked.
- The distribution map in the infobox appears to be colour-coded but there's no key?
- Added.
- "up until 1,900 m " up to an elevation of 1,900 m... There are two or three examples of this.
- Done.
- "Eggs are laid in clutches of 2-4 eggs" repetitive "eggs" and should be an en-dash, or you could even write in prose, of two to four eggs.
- Fixed.
- "The mass of eggs measured" surely this single value is an average?
- Added average.
- "between 10-16 days" between 10 and 16 or just 10–16 days (no need for "between" and should be an en-dash).
- Fixed.
- " 10-13 days" en-dash.
- Fixed.
- Status should contain IUCN's assessment.
- Done.
- Date formats in references should be consistent in format.
- Could you clarify what should be done?
- Ref 8 has a couple of spaced hyphens in the title which should be en-dashes.
- Replaced ref 8 with 6 because they're the same ref. AryKun (talk) 12:06, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
That's it for now, sorry for the delay in the review. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 09:21, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- @The Rambling Man: I feel like I've dealt with all of the issues raised. Is there anything else? AryKun (talk) 08:05, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
- I do re-checks and promotions in batches. Hopefully later today or tomorrow. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 08:13, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
