[edit]Please replace the name 'Chola' (சோள) that means the name of an eatable grain, with 'Chozha' (சோழ) which means the name of a king and or his dynasty.Helppublic (talk) 09:45, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]raja chulan is 19th century Perak prince...not a corruption of raja chola. raja chola is mentioned as raja suran in sejarah melayu — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sureshnaidu (talk • contribs) 13:17, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]There are serious issues with this page. It's laden with outrageously fallacious and dubious claims such as, Rajendra Chola was murdered by a king from Java, and so on. I could find absolutely no record of his death, let alone him being assassinated. There were more of suchlike claims on this page that lack citation. This could mislead very many readers. I would request the administrators to intervene and resolve the issue. Many use Wikipedia for research purposes. They expect the information to be perfectly accurate. - @Destroyer27 and Rudrawarman22: Looking at the article history, it seems to me that the dispute centers around the recent material introduced by Rudrawarman22, which has now largely been removed by Destroyer27. Given the extent of the material added/deleted in the intermediate edits, it is difficult for me to judge who is in the right. So I have restored the status quo ante and suggest that if Rudrawarman22 seeks to restore some of the material they had added, they do so in a piecemeal fashion (with accompanying edit-summaries) so that the additions and sourcing can be examined.
- Similarly, if either of you wish to remove any of the current matreial from the article, please first tag it with the appropriate tag (such as {{Citation needed}}, {{Failed verification}}) and/or explain the reasoning here on the talkpage instead of rushing to "fix" the article yourself. Hopefully, with collaboration and patience we can end up with a better final article. Abecedare (talk) 20:24, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
Sure. I just wanted to bring the page to an administrator's attention, since there has been disruptive editing here. Very many unsourced had been added to the page by this gentleman. They seemed virtually unverifiable because I found no website on the internet with those claims. Also, other Wikipedia pages related to this topic still contain the same information with proper citations, that were deleted on this page by him. I shall engage with him, if you are ready to moderate our discussion, which I am sure you will.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Destroyer27 (talk • contribs) 21:04, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
