Wrong definition?
[edit]Per the parent article Saṃskāraṃ, Karnavedham is the piercing of the ear while Choodakarma - spelled differently in Saṃskāraṃ - is the cutting of the hair. Perhaps someone knowledgable could check the references and correct either the parent or this article? LessHeard vanU (talk) 22:00, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- Choodakarma refers to the first hair cut, not to the piercing of the ear. Choodakarma gives 67 results in Google Books, while Chudakarana gives 624 results. I will redirect this page there now. Wiki-uk (talk) 05:32, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
