Henry James Prince and the Agapemonites in Clare during the 1840s

[edit]

Can anyone with access to local history sources help? I have been editing the article on the Agapemonites led by Henry James Prince and have seen several references to them moving to Clare when ejected from their Somerset parish during the 1840s. It appears they only stayed a year or two before the Bishop of Ely intervened and they moved on. Can anyone help with specific dates for this episode or information about their activities which in Suffolk?— Rod talk 20:14, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A but of further reading suggests this was in Stoke-by-Clare.— Rod talk 20:53, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
