Spelling of the first name.

[edit]

If you type Clyde Tyldesley into Google, many results come up, and I'm certain I've seen this spelling before (on ITV), is there any reference to where Clive came from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark PEA (talkcontribs) 20:12, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's his name. Just finished watching Liverpool Chelsea - that's his name. He's a bit of a tool though. Any more reference needed?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.56.113.137 (talkcontribs) 22:30, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tone

[edit]

This article is very chatty and unsourced, and needs some cleanup. Phil Sandifer 15:46, 31 July 2007 (UTC) I have edited the page adding the fact that Clive was educated at Kirkham Grammar School. I was at school with Clive and my mother taught him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.88.16.205 (talk) 11:58, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"The Ghanaian"

[edit]

Does anyone know where this nickname actually came from? Does anyone actually call him "The Ghanaian"? Seems like a pisstake that got added here, then got picked up by some crappy news site that was then used to source the page. I very much doubt this is a legit nickname. – PeeJay 15:30, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If the 'crappy news site' you are referring to is the one cited in earlier edits (e.g. [1] it no longer says anything about the supposed nickname. Probably because even crappy random websites that don't remotely meet Wikipedia reliable source requirements will occasionally correct things if obvious bollocks (probably copied from Wikipedia) is brought to their attention. 2A00:23C7:B701:A101:115D:C9DB:FD20:D18A (talk) 15:42, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
