Western end of the road

[edit]

The text says Durham, but the map shows Bundeena. Seems like a mistake by the map maker. Downsize43 (talk) 05:31, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bundeena is (or was) a station property at or near the junction of Cooper Developmental Road (Eromanga Road) and Bulloo Developmental Road (Bundeena Road). It is shown on DTMR maps but not on Queensland Globe or Google maps. Downsize43 (talk) 01:12, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Bonzle shows, just south-east of the road junction, Old Bundeena and New Bundeena Outstation. Downsize43 (talk) 04:04, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Downsize43: As of today, Queensland Globe shows the name changing from Cooper Developmental Road to Eromanga Road at the intersection with an unnamed road at the boundary of Durham and Eromanga (as localities) 27°06′23″N 142°50′33″E / 27.1064°N 142.84254°E / 27.1064; 142.84254. The property on the Eromanga side is Mount Margaret and the property on the Durham side is Buckaroola. I don't see any Bundeena on the Globe. I checked the coords on Google Maps and it agrees with the name change on the Eromanga/Durham boundary. Ironically I drove those roads in June but I failed to take detailed notes on where developmental roads started and ended (although I did photograph road signs from time to time so perhaps something will be revealsed when I get around to uploading them).
