Working on it. Might have to find a box that's for english towns. --Zagsa 20:07, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, more or less updated into english, fixed images, links, etc. There was a population box that was out of date and kind of useless, (imho looking at the data), but if anyone wants to add it back in here's a code you can copy from edit. --Zagsa 21:24, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

help with the history

[edit]

There is a logic error or miscommunication here. The village was not built until 1222 so how could it's ramparts foil an attack??

It was made to replace the village of Saint-Marcel, which was burnt down by the troops of Simon de Montfort in 1215, during the Northern Baron's crusade against the Albigensians.

During the Albigensian Crusade, the fortress' ramparts contributed to a successful foiling the attack.

a female count?

[edit]

Can Jeanne (a female) be a count? or would we say countess in English?
